BioPak disposable cutlery provides an environmentally sensitive alternative to traditional plastic foodservice disposables. Made from annually renewable resources, the BioPak range of cutlery reduces your environmental impact while providing all the functionality of traditional disposable plastic cutlery.
The BioPak PLA cutlery range can be composted in an commercial compost facilty, however this option is not widely available in Australia. If the cutlery ends up in landfill, it still has upstream environmental benefits, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. To gain maximum advantage though, the compost bin (industrial compost) is the recommended destination, completing a cycle by enriching the earth that helped produce it.
