BioPak PET clear straw slotted dome lids fit the BioPak 32oz green cold paper cups (maxi sized milkshake cups). These PET dome lids are made from conventional plastic and are accepted in the plastic recycling stream. The 32oz milkshake cup is the largest in the cold cup range. Use the BioPak range of cold paper cups for milkshakes, frappes and other cold drinks. Please note that they're not compatible with hot foods, microwave heating or oven heating. Cold paper cups are sealed inside and out with compostable IngeoTM plant based bioplastic so that they don't soften once condensation starts forming on the outside of the cups. This is a critical difference between a standard single walled coffee cup and a paper cold cup.
Eco friendly paper cold cups also have the added advantage of showing your customers that you care about your carbon footprint. BioCup paper cups are produced in an environmentally responsible way. Unlike traditional paper cups that use a petroleum-based plastic lining, BioCups are lined with a bioplastic lining (PLA) derived from corn starch. The production of PLA emits fewer greenhouse gas emissions when compared to conventional plastic production. The paper used to produce BioCups is sourced from managed plantations and all emissions associated with the production and distribution of our products is offset through the purchase of carbon credits.
