BioPak Aqueous coffee cups are certified home compostable. Double walled aqueous paper cups offer customers an extra layer of lightly rippled paperboard for better heat insulation. These cups don't require double cupping or cup sleeves making them an economical and eco friendly alternative to single wall paper cups. This is especially so for hotter drinks like black tea and Americano coffee where customer hands need to be insulated from the heat. Aqueous cups feature heavy duty, premium quality board for better insulation and exceptional lid fit to prevent spillage.
Eco friendly aqueous coffee cups are manufactured using a unique waterproof coating instead of traditional plastic or bioplastic. This makes them ideal to use in eco conscious cafes, restaurants and events. Aqueous technology uses a water based coating that is applied to the paperboard, and is absorbed into the plant fibres to produce leak and grease proof cups.
Aqueous cups are certified commercially compostable to European (EN13432), to Australian (AS4736) standards and are also certified home compostable to AS5810 standards.
