BioPak Aqueous coffee cups are made using aqueous technology. A water-based barrier coating is used instead of traditional plastic or bioplastic. These aqueous cups are made from paper sourced from managed plantations and are food safe and odourless. The coating is applied and absorbed into the paper fibres which reduces the amount of material needed whilst providing leak and grease proof benefits. Aqueous cups are certified industrially compostable to European (EN13432), to Australian (AS4736) standards and are also certified home compostable to AS5810 standards.
Eco friendly coffee cups are an excellent substitute to traditional foam or plastic lined paper cups. They are suitable for hot and cold drinks. Make the switch to eco friendly and sustainable aqueous cups and reduce your carbon footprint. You can also consider plant fibre (also known as sugarcane) lids for a fully home compostable cup solution.
Made from annually renewable resources
Printed with non-toxic, environmentally-friendly water or soy-based inks
Unique water-based barrier coating instead of traditional plastic or bioplastic
BioCup paper cups are produced in an environmentally responsible way. Unlike traditional paper cups that use a petroleum-based plastic lining, Aqueous BioCups are lined with a unque water-based coating as an alternative to traditional plastic or bioplastic. The paper used to produce BioCups is sourced from managed plantations and all emissions associated with the production and distribution of BioPak products is offset through the purchase of carbon credits. Together, we can make a difference one cup at a time.
