BioPak Paper BioBowl lids are lined with a bioplastic lining made from plants, not oil. They're suitable for hot and cold food and liquids. These lids are certified industrially compostable, and are also available in kraft. Note that these lids have two tiny vent holes on top to allow steam to escape from hot foods.
Eco friendly hot and cold paper bowls are an excellent substitute for standard foam or plastic lined alternatives and have the added advantage of showing your customers that you care about your carbon footprint. Many council areas today will only allow eco friendly packaging in food service areas. We have a full range of compostable packaging, perfect for satisfying even the most discerning local council.

Lined with Ingeo plant based plastic, these paper bowls have the same functionality as conventional food containers but their moisture proof barrier is made from plants, not oil. Therefore, it is fully renewable and leaves a smaller environmental footprint.
If the BioBowl ends up in landfill, it still has upstream environmental benefits, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. For those concerned about the environment, its a happy ending for a takeaway pack that's just beginning to make its mark in Australia.
