BioPak BioPlastic Tidy Bags are made from a synthetic biodegradable plastic combined with plant starch – Ecopond. Certified home compostable to European standards and certified compostable to AS4736-2006 Australian standards. That means that these bags are accepted wherever there are municipal organic waste collection services. If the bags do end up in the environment, they will biodegrade more rapidly than conventional plastic bags.
BioPlastic Bags enable the diversion of organic waste from landfill and are ideal for the collection of food scraps
Bioplastics have a 6 month self life from purchase and must be stored out of direct sun and below 35°C
The emissions associated with the production, distribution and disposal of the all BioPak products are offset through the purchase of carbon credits
Biodegradable in home compost
BioPlastic tidy bags are great for use as bin liners, for use as kitchen tidy bags and even for use at the park when Fido answers the call of nature. Additionally, BioPlastic bags meeting AS4736 can be used in areas that have banned plastic bags.

Good, But Not Amazing
By: JJ M on 16 October 2024I agree with the other reviewer. They're very pricey. I do think that the material has good stretch and lots of give though. I doubt that any of them will ever break - so thats a plus. Ill give them an extra star for being stretchy.

Good Idea But Too Expensive
By: Dianne on 1 July 2024I know we all have to go bio these days, but these bags are too expensive. I'm just filling them with rubbish and throwing them out. They work fine, it's just the price.
