Dispenser freezer bags are commonly used by butchers, chicken shops, fish shop and in the home. You'll see freezer bags most commonly in butchers and fish shops where only a light weight, thin bag is needed. The bagged meat is then usually placed into a plastic carry bag for the customer to take home and freeze.

 

Freezer bags are probably the thinnest bag that we stock, which makes them one of the most cost effect options for your packaging needs. Another option to consider would be our range of roll bags, which are a little thicker and come on a handy spool / roll for easy dispensing.

 

As is the case with plastic carry bags in the market these days, freezer bags are now moving away from cartons measured by quantity and have moved to cartons measured by weight. This is mostly due to the dynamic cost of the raw materials in the world market. Calculating the number of bags per carton has become increasingly difficult as the calculation depends on knowing the exact thickness of each bag to determine its weight.
